Final from the 7th. Not a big surprise here; the only team Eastern has lost to all year (twice) is Jeffersontown.

Clutch performance by Eastern. Congratulations.

Did Jenkins play?

According to the updates thread, Manual only scored 2 in the first quarter and 24 through three quarters.

Jenkins played and led in every category, but Manual only got 2 points (no field goals) from its 6-10 center who went 0-9 in the first half alone. Manual was beaten badly on the boards. Now Jenkins can focus on getting fully recovered and begin preparing for college.

Eastern has a very solid troop and could very well make a deep run in the Sweet 16.

Kinda tough to pin a 19-point loss on one guy. Sounds like with 24 points through 3 quarters, nobody for Manual did nearly enough in this one. Tough year for Manual, who started with 3 straight wins, then could never string as many as 3 Ws together after that.

Congrats to Eastern, and good luck to Jenkins as he moves on to the next level.:thumb:

I really have loved watching Jenkins play the last 2 year. Was a tough year for him with the injury mid-season. Hoping he gets a scholly somewhere.
