Final from the 8th.

This was a very physical game. Penny didn't get the calls that he is used to getting, but Anderson County found a way to win.

If someone can stop ACs big men...then AC will be goin home. Penn and Russell had all of their teams points until halfway through the 4th quarter. I think that Russell and Penny combined to score 45 out of their 52 points or something like that. I thought St. Julien played a very gutsy game for NO and really kept them in it with his tough drives to the basket.

Nobody gets calls in post season play in the 8th...officials just let them beat each other up. If the Anderson/North game didn't have two of the better officials there might not have been anything but the hard obvious fouls called. Every game is going to be "physical".

You say "if someone can stop AC's big men then they will be going home"? Let papa pigskin let you in on a little secret. Only 5 teams have done that all year and 4 of those were in the last BG preps rankings top 8 teams. Those big men are pretty good!!! It wil be difficult for any team to cancel out or stop both Penny and Russell. Throw in Humphries, who wasnt there last night, and thats a tough obstacle for the average high school team?

Where is Humphries???

Where is Humphries???

Grandmother passed. He will be back with the team for the semis.

Thanks, sorry to hear that...he seems like a good kid and he will definitely make the trip to Rupp easier for them.

No, there big men are REALLY good. I dont know if anyone can in the 8th, but thats the key to victory against them. Russell and Penny are monsters, but if someone can step up and cancel out one of them then they can be beaten.
