Just wondering if there has been any big upsets in the district or regional tournament yet. If not do you guys have any predications of possible upsets?

Lafayette over Franklin County in the 11th, Franklin was 21-4 and Lafayette was 10-19.

Wow, that is an upset.. Im looking at the 7th region, with JTown, Eastern and Ballard. JTown and Eastern seem to be the cream of the crop in that region, but I could see Ballard pulling an upset and going to the state tourny.

Yeah you could be right. I think the 7th starts tomorrow, so we'll have to wait and see.

Imo, that could be the best Regional Tournament in the state this year.

By a landslide! Three of the top ten teams in the state IMO.

Thats true. It would not be a major upset; however It seems Ive heard a lot more about JTown and Eastern this year and it seemed like Ballard is a step or two behind them. But that all changes at Tournament time and with the rich history of Ballard, I am sure they will bring everything they got.

In the 3rd...Ohio County going to Meade County and winning is a little surprising. Meade had won the regular season matchup by 15.

 

In the 6th...Central beating Iroquois in overtime was a little surprising. Iroquois had won ten straight games. Central isn't a bad team, though.

 

In the 11th...Lafayette over Franklin County was a big-time shocker.

 

 

Otherwise, though, it's been a rather calm night around Kentucky.
