I'm not sure who the #2 guy will be, maybe Buckler or Combs. I could see Hegge hitting in the #4 slot, as his hitting as dramatically increased over the past two seasons.

I heard that the Hegge boy really has grown and packed on some muscle. If that is the case and his bat has gotten some pop then I would expect him to be in the cleanup spot. Dont forget, Hegge played on a very good Select team this past summer as well.

Bucker or Combs at the top of the lineup sounds about right with their speed. I might just have to make a trip down to the Vets this season and watch some innings. The Tigers sound like they should have a very good team.

Agreed. A top of the lineup with Barrett, Buckler/Combs, Hunter, Hegge, then maybe Piper or Scott could be quite fun to watch

I forgot about Barrett, he is a speedster for sure. Should be some ducks on the pond for Jones and Hegge to rip in.

Who will be there #3,#4 and#5 starters.

Any thoughts?

Well I see Piper and Scott as 1, 2. Young could be the 3 guy, with either Thompson or Mayes as the 4. Then, either Thompson or Mayes, along with Snider, Barrett, and whoever else Sanders has up his sleeve in the bullpen

People will be very suprised this year with who will be pitching for Bellevue, Coach Sanders does have something up his sleeve also.

Is that something called Hunter Jones?

This team is going to surprise alot of folks. Every starting player has varsity experience, these kids have been playing together in one form or another since t-ball.

This is high school baseball the way it's supposed to be played, kids who grew up and played together enjoying their last four years. Obviously Hunter Jones has been a great addition to the team, his presence will get some of these kids some exposure they otherwise would'nt have got. Coach Sanders and his staff have turned around this team and made a difference in some young men's lives, and that is what high school sports is supposed to be about. I think some on here lose the focus of that in looking at the box scores.............

Look for the Tigers to be as good as any team in the 9th Region. The players they have are winners, they have good team speed, good pitching and great Def.and the whole line up can hit! The coaching staff of Coach Sanders , Joe Lay and Rick Buckler is one of the best around with Good aggresive Baseball and being able to make the players play to the best of their ablities. Good Luck!!!
