That's right. It was a one point game heading into the 4th quarter. Then Estill County outcored the Owls by 12 in the last quarter. Owsley County couldn't buy a basket in that period, and Estill County spread the floor and all Owsley County could do was foul, and Estill made most of those opportunties.

 

Both teams played with a lot of heart and hustle.

 

One bright thing for the Owls is that all five starters in the game for them were juniors and will be back for another chance next year in the district tournament, which will be held at Lee County.
