One interesting point from a rural perspective. Churches are not encourage or allowed to have an active role in school. Until there is a tragedy and counselors are needed to talk to the kids. Then they are the first to be called.

Definitely. My actual opinion on this subject should be well known. To my knowledge I have never voted for anyone that shares my religious beliefs.

Too many posts to quote. LBC I am definitely with you on this one. There should be separation of church and state, but one should consider their religious values when voting. It is no stretch to expect a politician to vote with their religious values playing a major factor in decisions.

 

I don't believe we should put to much faith in voting for someone who claims to have our religious values however, if the past history of voting those lines is not already evident.
