Somerset was left with NOTHING.

 

They are very, very young. He had them playing much better than they would have. Somerset will be good in the next few years.

Rowan was the same way they were not expected anything. Coach Thacker has brought Rowan along this year and they are getting better every time out.

Thacker is a much better coach than he ever received credit for at Somerset. He will do a great job at Rowan. I am not sure the Somerset situation will improve as much as people think/hope.

I am going to have to go reversi on that. I think Thacker did well to start seasons, and during many seasons, but when the tournament rolled around, his teams seemed to never get over the hump. Usually, they were very, very talented.
