Raceland vs. Lewis County (63rd district)

Raceland and Lewis County will meet in the opening round of the boys 63rd district tournament on Feb 24th at Raceland. What are everyones thoughts on this one?

Raceland has been inconsistent this season but I will still pick the Rams in this one.

It is very hard to pick against Hampton this time of year. Raceland is at home though, and I feel that Floyd has some tricks up his sleeve, Ill take Raceland in a tight one.

Lewis County will need to step it up to beat the Rams at home but I look for Coach Hampton to have his team fired up and I know they will be hungry after losing two in a row. I'll take Lewis by 8.

This game is at 8pm. The Russell/Greenup County game is at 6pm.

Thanks Ram. Should be two dandy games. This is probably the most evenly matched district where I wouldn't be surprised to see any four of the teams come out on top.

I agree, Greenup should be a little favorite, but Coach Kidwell will have his Devils prepared. The Lewis/Raceland game should be a dandy.

I certainly agree with this, looks like this year the seeding didn't make that much of a difference. JMO

Raceland by 8. Everyone says Hampton has his team ready this time of year, but after seeing there performance against Bourbon Co., they have a long way to go to prepare for post season play.

Lewis County/Hampton are usually a very tough out in the districts. They will be ready, you can count on that.

Im aware they are usually ready, but after seeing them play recently, I dont see them being able to beat Raceland at Raceland. Im hoping Im wrong, but I will be somewhat surprised if Lewis County/Hampton are able to win.
