ckshockey Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 The Lady Raiders continued their winning ways by defeating the Panda on Senior Night at NDA. The Lady Raiders were led by Jenna Crittendon - 25 points, Abby Jump - 18 points, and Liz Meyer - 11 points. The Pandas were led by Jackson - 18 points, Walker - 14 points, Delph - 14 points.
doubledeuce Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 The Lady Raiders played very well. They shot lights out. It was not Senior Night, Senior Night is this Thursday vs. Shelby County.
bjim Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 I thought Notre Dame really needed this win to get some momentum going into the upcoming tournaments.
ckshockey Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 I guess the Enquirer was wrong this morning. They said it was Senior Night.
NCC06 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 NDA is struggling with districts and regions approaching us very soon.
Clyde Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Let me say I'd be terrible as a coach in a post-game interview situation when my team just got beat in a game I expected to win. With that, Cheryl Darpel probably should not have commented on how "happy" Ryle sounded with the win.

With that, Cheryl Darpel probably should not have commented on how "happy" Ryle sounded with the win. I'm sure Notre Dame would have loved to win this game. With that said, It seemed the game meant more to Ryle (finally beating a team like Notre Dame) than it did to the Panda fans.
NCC06 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 With all of the issues that Ryle has had in the past couple weeks they are playing outstanding basketball and may very well be the hottest team going into the postseason.
pressit Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Let me say I'd be terrible as a coach in a post-game interview situation when my team just got beat in a game I expected to win. With that, Cheryl Darpel probably should not have commented on how "happy" Ryle sounded with the win. We already know that the paper got the headline wrong. We already know that the reporter listed the leading scorers for NDA incorrectly in the story based upon the box score. Perhaps, the reporter also got the quote wrong. I have never believed that papers accurately reflect statements. Do you?
ckshockey Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 I know in this day and age it would be hard to sneak up on anyone but perhaps Ryle can cause a stir in this years tournaments.
