Log Mountain Boy Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 http://fieldsnotes.bloginky.com/ Interesting read. It appears Dunbar and Tates Creek not playing LexCath really hurt considering the draw.
Bright Horizons Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 If you want to be the best you have to beat the best. Neither team has time to whine about they just have to go out and play, Lexington Catholic has looked very beatable this year. In fact I think PLD wins both games.

I think they have a good shot at it too, but both had bad draws when had they all played each other in the regular season more than likely Tates Creek and Dunbar at the least would be 2nd and 3rd seeds rather than getting the worst draw.
TheSecondComing Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Wow. Good news for teams in other districts in the 11th.
dryz93 Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 (edited) I'm not gonna lie, although I do hate the blind draw, it's nice knowing that only one of those three teams will be in the regional tourney. Edited February 17, 2009 by Ram Rule 13
FANOFTHE11th Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Why exactly did the public schools boycott Lex Cath? Looks like that decision has come back to bite the public schools.
In the Game Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 The public schools can blame themselves for not standing up to the higher ups and say that they need to play Catholic, if for any reason, to seed the district tournament.

jjh Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I think Lex. Catholic will probably make it out. Tates Creek seems to be playing better of late as well.

Log Mountain Boy Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 It could bite them, or it could bite Catholic if they are upset and left out of the regional tournament. It will be very interesting to see how that plays out. 1 or the other will be hurt by the draw.
