When Villa played Seneca, you said Bryan had 35 points? Ok, I'll go with that stat. BUT, Villa lost by 49 points! 99-50, and Seneca laid off in the 4th.

 

Last month when Villa played Beechwood Bryan scored 14 points, BUT Beechwood won the game by 36! 74-38. Beechwood also laid off in the second half, At the end of the 3rd I recall seeing that Beechwood was up by 46? 11 Beechwood players scored in the game. I also believe that Beuttel did not play in that game.

 

I am sorry to say that this is not last year's Villa's team, they simply do not have the players other than Bryan, he carries his team on his back ever game. Bryan is a good basketball player but shines brighter on Villa's team, but he would also start for just about any team in NKY that is not named Holmes, and even there I think he would see a lot of PT.

 

Some others are not seeing the poilite sarcaism calling him "King Blake". I asked a few days ago and no one had commented on this question so I will ask again, What did Beechwood do to hold Bryan to 14 last month? 14 is still a good performance but it was 20 points below his average at the time. But no other team seems to be able to stop him.

 

Unless Romes, Beuttel, and Pohlgeers have other plans tonight and don't come to the game, Beechwood wins, and wins big, again.

I'm not saying Villa will win this game, Beechwood on paper should win by 49 points. However I'm going to stick up for my friend in saying of the sarcasm to Blake, I'm guessing none of you saying "King Blake" have ever talked to him, he's very humble about his accomplishments, alot more humble than alot of us could say we would be. He says he always needs to be working on something to make him better, and for all that work he deserves some respect.

 

No this isn't last years team, and yes last years team was better he had better players surrounding him, but how is he being critizied for his own ability as a player?

 

As for tonight we'll just have to wait and see, I'm guessing it will be a very quick, physical game, but should still be fun to watch!

One should take a name given in fun such as "King Blake" as a compliment, I don't think there is any harm in that, but those who criticize Blake this year would have done the same last year. No one has said Blake is bragging about anything, and yes he is very humble. :thumb:
