The Entitlement Stimulus

This scares me to death.

Anyone who thinks that the Dems long term goal isn't a completely nationalized medical system has their head completely buried in the sand. Get ready to wait months for medical services.

:cry: I already do. It's called having a huge deductible and only getting one office visit per year. I save up for medical services, kind of like the same way I would save up for vacation... or a new sofa.

But I don't disagree with you. And I'm not sure why this needs to be in this stimulus package.:irked:

That's easy to answer. The liberals are using the stimulous package to push through a lot of their more radical ideas that would have a poor chance of being passed if they weren't attached to this "emergency" bill.

I know. Same as the conservatives have also done, politics as usual.:irked: What a sorry system!

The difference being that conservative politics is more in tune with the ideas our ORIGINAL constitution...Not what you could call RADICAL. Conservative ideas do not necessarily go along with what's been going on in Washington for a long time. GWB is about as close to a conservative as BHO. If our government had been conservative for the last twenty years we wouldn't be talking about stimulus/spending/bailout bills.:thumb:

Yeah, I guess I said conservatives, when I should have said contemporary Republicans. My point was that I'm sick of both parties adding the provisions of their own selfish agendas into unrelated pieces of legislature.

I definitely agree with the bolded part of your original statement.
