IMO For the Rebels to be more successful The kid that was knocking down some nice 3s has to get a little more stingy with his shots...The kid has some real nice touch...There was a fear from the Ads fans when he let if fly...Boyle moves the ball around the court good...I just feel they need to get that one kid to shot the ball more...Good luck Rebels...Good luck Ads...:thumb:

 

That would be Cory(Corey) Jones. He is a junior. I look for Cory(Corey) to take over as a leader of the team next year and I look for him to do be a catalyst of the offense at a more consistent rate than he is now. When he gets going he can really fill it up. Great kid with a sweet shot. I hear he's pretty good at soccer also.

We were picked at the top of the region in most preseason polls and had the second best player (Aumiller) in these same polls.You keep saying that we have the talent to beat anyone in this region yet out record is 3-9 against 12th region competition. Only McCreary Central has been a bigger disappointment this year. I have only been to 6 or 7 games but there is a different attitude out on the floor and for whatever reason we have not been able to put it together. My only hope is that we can count on home court advantage in the district. P.S. I thought Jordan Walker played as well as anybody against Garrard Co. I thought he should have had more minutes against Danville.

Did Jordan play any at all against Danville? I was on the way home and realized that I didn't think I saw Jordan out there. If he was, it wasn't very long. I agree with you about more playing time since he played well the night before.

Jordan Walker could use more minutes in every game, not just the Danville game. I'd also like to see Blake Perry get more minutes and Phillip Mason get more minutes also. I think those 3 along with Trevor Austin could provide help off of the bench.

 

I agree with you on the attitude part, but I think the players are a laid back group. A leader on the floor is needed and I don't think we have that leader on the floor. This has been a weird year, it almost feels like 2 different seasons, with the 3rd season starting in the District Tourney.

 

Even after our 3-9 record in the region, no one has blown us out of the gym except for Lincoln and Garrard, and we had a chance to beat Garrard on their home floor which is why I say we have the talent to win the 12th region. I wish we would fight back when we get down instead of hanging our heads. We do that too much. I still feel the future is bright, including the tourney. We can do it, we just have to believe.

 

And protect the ball.
