This was a great game at hoopfest, back and forth the entire night. Alisha Mitchell from Clay was the Hoopfest Player of the Game.

Impressed with Calloway's 2 post players over 6'. Averee (Soph Calloway) was impressive on both ends of the floor.

Actually, neither of Calloway's 6-footers are post players. Averee Fields has to be one of the top sophomores in the state ... she will be a Division I recruit for sure. The only question at this point is what level she can play.

Fields is awesome. I could not believe she is a sophomore. I have no doubt she will be playing D1 somewhere in a few years. :thumb:

Looks like Clay County is getting back on track by beating a good Calloway team. It is good to see the little Mitchell kid playing well again. She is only a Freshman and has a world of upside! For Clay to be the team they need to be,Whitney Bell needs to get serious and be the boss that she can be.

When Jackson learns to use her size and strength, she will be a beast. Only a sophomore, 6'1" and getting better every time I see her play.

I really like Jackson! She was playing great early then hit a spell where she was just not playing like she was at the beginning. Hopefully she will realize just how good she can be and play with a lot of energy the rest of the way. If she does look out!
