Very physical game in Alexandria tonight. Camel freshman improve to 11-2. Jeff Skinner led the Camels with 19 and Nate McGovney added 14. Colonels are very talented but also very undisciplined (3 technical fouls). That really surprised me given Coach Chevalier's track record.

Big win for the Camels frosh. Dixie was 15-1 coming in tonight's action. Undefeated in NKY and their only loss to Cincinnati St. X by 2 points. Keep rolling Camels and keep playing inspired ball.

Former Calvary Christian head coach, Nick Benge, is the Dixie Heights freshmen coach, and his team being undisciplined and picking up Ts would be very out of character for him.

I left when the Camels went up 22, but I know the technicals were not because of the coach. He seemed very mild-mannered. His players were acting out of control early in the game when they started trailing.

And Dixie should have had 4 more fouls in the 1st quarter. Some Dixie parents and fans were very immature. At least 2 should have been tossed from the stands for vulgar language.

 

I'm not sure that Campbell only had 7 fouls.....

Just play defense and not foul. What is the referee suppose to do when players are blatantly fouling. You get three technicals after being called for fouls and you will have a high foul count. Dixie shot three after three while Campbell attacked the basket, thus more fouls on Dixie.

Which tournament are you speaking of? Campbell will be in the 10th region tourney if they beat Brossart on 2/5.
