Cory Rogers was injured with 3:40 to go in the first quarter. He was knocked out and play was called for over 30 minutes, till a ambulance could come. Reports is he is up and alert , but has a broken nose. He will be out indefinitely. Ryan Willimas did not play due to the Border Bowl. Both teams were given 3 minutes to warm up again.

Jaylan Daniels played a heck of a game, 21 points, but I do not have any other stats. Hope to have some later tonight.

Sounds like GRC domination from beginning to end. Congrats on a nice win.

No surprise here...nice win for the Cards.

Hopefully Rogers makes a speedy recovery. Always hate to see a kid get hurt.

Nice win for GRC, hope Rogers makes a speedy recovery.

Thanks really appreciate your words on Cory. It was a very scary time today. He was not moving and the gym was so quiet. Both teams made a circle and had prayer....very touching moment.

Injury bug has now hit all 5 starters for GRC. We are really banged up. Bench is getting valuable minutes and stepping up when they need to.

Stats:

Clark - Hatton 11 (all in the first half), Daniel 21 (Winchester Sun Player of the Game. Scored 12 in second half). Stenzel 16, Martin 3, Thomas 4, Blair 2, Skinner 3, Zollo 20, Brewer 2 and Rogers 2.

Christian - Burdette 9, Kindred 2, W. Evans 12, Sparks 8, Barnett 8, Gullett 5, Cherry 4, Helton 4, Heilig 2, Staton 2.

Hope Rogers is ok.

Good win for GRC. Easily could have had a let down after the emotional/rival game with Montgomery.

Zollo keeps increasing his productivity on the stat page.

I agree on the big game with Montgomery. This is the 4th game in 7 days for the Cards this week.

Zollo played a outstanding game, besides his 20 points, he had 4 assists, 12 rebounds, and 9 blocked shots.

Update on Cory Rogers. He broke his nose and has a concussion. He is still in the hospital awaiting to see a ear, nose and throat specialists. We are praying and thinking of you Cory.

The bad part about Rogers was no foul was even called when he got hurt! Simply amazing! The refs were calling hand check fouls later though, go figure!

I noticed they started calling closer after that. They let it get too rough early. Some refs get lazy and that stuff happens.
