Kay and Kelce are the two frosh that sat this year. Kay is 6'4" 220 and won a state title in Michigan last year. Good feel for the pocket and nice footwork for a young kid. Kelce is 6'5" 235. Big arm kid that was also given the chance to walk on the hoops team, but had an injury in practice late in the football season that shut him down...

Hazelton is coming into a big unknown as far as who will be throwing him the ball. Obviously, he will be the focus but it still is an unknown.

That was BKs final season at CMU. Then Mauk, Grutza and Pike. He'll find a guy to do the job and do it well...

He'll find a guy to do the job and do it well... Which D2 school? I liked Mauk, but he was well-trained when he arrived in Clifton from Wake. I did not get to see Grutz or Pike a lot, but I was not overly impressed when I did. Granted that could simply be the talent level and BK can't turn a Ford Contour into a Corvette.
January 20, 200917 yr Author Grand Valley State. Go look at Mauk's numbers from his days at Wake. You'd be surprised how little he played, and how poorly he did. Also take a look at Grutza's numbers under Dantonio and compare how well he did under BK. It's a remarkable improvement...
