First ever game between the two schools in boys action. The Bears continue to play good "D" . Harlan City only scored 3 points in the 3rd period on a late 3 point goal. The Bears could pull off a upset come district time with the style of ball they play.

Played pretty poor or not, a win is a win. I thought for the entire night the Bears did pretty well. We won the JV game. We won the Varsity game. Our Student section out screamed the green. Our Cheerleaders out performed Harlan and I also think our popcorn is better at our home games! Go Black Bears!

HC missed a lot of easy shots, but played solid "D" like they do every night.

I was impressed with the HC defense as always. They did miss a lot of easy shots that could of really put the game out of reach but like lungbuster said, "A win is a win".

 

This team has improved SO MUCH since the beginning of the year. Coach Jones is doing one heck of a job.

Way to go Black Bears. Just think with all the talent coming from the grade schools next year, Harlan can only get better.
