Kentucky Prep Classic renamed.

Featured Replies

They have just renamed this classic The Joe B Hall Prep Classic.

What a wonderful way to pay tribute to a Kentucky basketball legend.

It was truly inspiring to hear Joe B. himself inform the entire gymnasium that he wears an Elliott County jersey in support and recognition of such talented and determined young men.

That was a great honor for him and for the words he spoke about Elliott. He really needs a t-shirt.

Maybe even 2 . . . just so he has a spare!! :thumb:

I thought he said that "they really knew what it meant to wear the uniform" I really couldn't tell though. This is the first time I have gotten to see Elliott and they made me want to "lace em up" and get out on the hardwood. You often hear coaches say "play every possesion" These young mean actually played every single possession in the second half.

Great honor for a great Kentucky legend. Coach Hall has done alot for Kentucky athletics not for just basketball but for all of it with his radio show with Coach Crum congrats.

Would think that a Joe B. Hall Classic would be at Harrison County, isn't that where he lives? Am surprised there hasn't been one in his honor for years either at Harrison County or elsewhere.
