Of Bell's 15 player on Varsity 9 I belive are football players. Zachery, Madon, Lowe, Overbay, Raines, and Patterson are all big contributors. They will continue to get better each week.

The only way this one is close is if the Redhounds overlook the Bobcats after a big win over Lexington Catholic. However, I can definitely see that happening.

I think the Bobcats are one of the best 5 or 6 teams in the region. I think any of those 5 or 6 teams could win the region if they got hot in March.

1. Corbin

2. South L.

3 M'boro

4. Clay Co.

5. Knox or Bell

I think Corbin and M'boro have the most talent as a team in the 13th region. The other 4 teams I have listed also have a good talent pool.:thumb:

Lewis Morris is a very smart and intense coach and he will have his kids ready for this one. The problem is that Bell's team leader and best player is in the process of getting football out of his system, while Corbin's top 4 or 5 players are in midseason form now and ready to roll. IMO this will be an ugly game similar to the Bell/Knox game with Bell battling Corbin's tails off before falling late, but getting closer to being where they want to be and if Zachary has the same type of desire and determination for the basketball team as he did for the football team Bell will be a very tough out by season's end.

Corbin 56 Bell 49

Corbin by 10. Bell will be a very tough out come tournament time but Corbin is playing well right now.
