January 1, 200917 yr I have been reflecting on 2008 and i have decided that even though it was one of the worst years of my life it was full of many blessings also. I think of seeing someone come into my hospital room (after my heart surgery) carrying a big vase of flowers and MrRk opening up the card and saying these are from (RTS and BirdsFan). Then another arrangement came and he said these are from Mr & Mrs. PurpleHaze. The phones calls that I received from everyone were amazing. MrRk answered the phone and one point and told me that someone who called himself "Alabama Larry" called to wish me well. Then there was MrsPH....Gold Sunrise, RTS, and I think that Birdsfan had an on going conversation with MrRk for days and so many more. The prayers...oh the prayers that the BGP nation sent up to heaven ...just for me.....how could anyone not think that anyone who would do that just for me....has to be pretty special people - and each of you are just that - pretty special people. Then the long struggled my "Moma" had. There was never a time that my friends on BGP ever forgot my Moma in prayers. I am so totally convinced that all the prayers that she received, from so many people, is what kept her alive for a year to the day that they told us she wouldn't live more than 2 hours. I have grown to really appreciate and enjoy so many people on here. Cvillecat is now going through exactly what I did with my Mom....all I can asked is that all of you do for Cvillecat's mom what you all did for my mom. Pray hard and pray often that God will continue to keep this woman and her family in his loving arms. Please pray that Cvillecat will have as much time with his mom as he needs. Please pray that PH gets better and that OR and MrsOR continue on a path to a healthier life. Just keep all our friends in your prayers as you so graciously did mine. So when I reflect back on 2008 I can't help but know, that even though it was a bad year for me and my family, it was a great year because I found so many new friends. OH yea...and please pray that the lurking squirrel in NKY doesn't catch BF and do horrible squirrely things to him:lol:
