Makes me understand that it's hard to cry "Christian Persecution" here with the barbs and arrows we take versus the real threat these followers of Christ live under.

Thousands of civilians were seen streaming out of their homes and going into local groceries to stock up on food during the break. The army may institute a similar suspension every other day if allowed by the “operational situation,” Major Peter Lerner, a military spokesman, said. Hamas said it would hold fire during those hours too, Agence France-Presse reported. The deaths at the school, which was being used as a shelter, added urgency to diplomatic efforts to end the fighting.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon planned to travel to Gaza on Tuesday to inspect the damage and visit United Nations facilities hit in the fighting.
