I have seen Central Hardin play. Playing North Hardin and Etown close is good for them. The seven teams they have beaten have a combined 21 wins...3 per team. Not exactly the toughest schedule in the state.

 

They will continue to win games and I wish them luck. They are just not good enough to be in any top ten poll.

 

I realize I proposed that perhaps they were a top 10 team...but don't you think they merit discussion in this thread as a likely top 20 team?

Maybe we should have a top 19 and have 20 tied for the 20th spot. Just seems like a lot of parity right now which makes a top 20 hard to set.

Very good point. When I began looking at teams that I thought were top 20 caliber, I realized I had more teams than slots! And I only had three teams I thought were over-ranked (and currently in the BGP top 20).

 

There seems to be a lot of parity in girls basketball this year...
