Barbourville 57 Williamsburg 52

The Yellow Jackets have a great deal of potential and talent but they are dropping these small margin games by not focusing on doing the little things correctly and with total effort and intensity. A few things that I have noticed: 2 of their 7 games have been played without a main starter in the lineup. A strong defense nor a strong offense can be built with an unreliable player. Get with the program or get to the house in my opinion. Pass the ball inside to the big men. The games that Williamsburg has won have been the games where the ball has been passed inside. Take better shot selection. Rogue players take poor shot selection, turn the ball over, and create unanswered points for the other team.

The Jackets are a good team depending on which team shows up to play. Teamwork and correcting small mistakes are the key to their success.

Congrats tp Barbourbille

A very surprising score.

Jackets have very good looking team. Teague, Petit, Rains and Cunningham are good looking athletes. I expect them to improve and work out the kinks as the season goes one. Coach Robinson will make them tough and they will get some valuable experiences this season.

I agree. The Jackets have great potential this year with Cunningham, Teague, Taylor, & Pettit. I only hope that they can pull together as a team and get over the selfish playing style.

IMO W'burg has the potential to be much better than they have shown so far, maybe coaches will get it out of them, maybe not, time will tell. I felt they should have beaten B'ville.

I think it's about right.

I had Barbourville 12th coming into the year and Williamsburg around 14 or 15. Williamsburg is a little better than I expected though and quite a bit better than last year when they may have had the worst team in the region.

This is a game this team and coaches have to learn how to win...

I agree, IMO Lynn Camp is much better than B'ville and the Jackets took it to them, so beating Bville and like teams, should be games they could win.
