Trouble brewing in Big D?

There have been numerous times this season where Owens has been wide open, and Romo has tried to force the ball to Witten....

Pretty simple.... Dallas beats NY Sun night and this is digging for a story.... NY wins Sun night and it's a time bomb. It's about as simple as that. While this is an urgent win for Dallas I think there has been A TON of overreacting this week against Dallas. They outplayed the Steelers at their place in the snow until the last 2 minutes. It's not like they are terrible and the sky is falling.

I still think he is the greatest based on talent, which is why I made the post that I did...

And I disagree. He's past his prime.

Didn't TO CRY last year after the playoffs were over?!?!

"Saying thats my QB."

Yeah, nothing better than seeing the Giants make the Cowboys literally cry.

Considering they were predicted to win the super bowl by a lot of people, and there is a chance they won't even make the playoffs...it is pretty funny.

We've been hearing rumblings all season from and about TO...

Only the most blindly optimstic Cowboys fan could shrug that off as "no big deal".

We've seen this story before. What reason do we have to think the ending will be different in Dallas?

On sportscenter this morning they had a comparison between TO and Whitten. TO had more balls thrown to him than Whitten but Whitten had way more catches than TO.

From what they're saying on ESPN right now, it seems like Owens has support from quite a few Cowboys on this....

The locker room in Philly was divided as well. He always has people on his side it seems...

He also is the common denominator in all these cases where he starts acting like a 3 year old child and ultimately destroys the team he's playing for.

The best thing Dallas/Jerry Jones could do is ride this season out and then cut ties with Owens. If not, they'll end up destroying a promising young QB just to massage the ego of an aging WR who is having trouble facing the fact that he's not the player he once was.

Dallas has plenty of talented pieces in place to build around...if they keep Owens it could eventually destroy the whole team. The addition of Roy Williams makes TO expendable, IMO.

They were saying a lot of the coaching staff feels that Romo trys to force it to Witten too much, and that 3 other WRs, not just TO, went to Garrett and complained about how much Romo was looking for Witten. This time it seems like it isn't just TO.

Well, Roy Williams has been known to pout as well. Looks like it didn't take him long to feel at home...

Whether TO is right or wrong is not the primary concern, IMO. Its how he handles these issues...once he starts down this path, we know how its going to end. Its just a matter of time. When, not if.

If Dallas can make it through the season, they should cut TO, take the cap hit, and move forward with a talented young nucleus...

Romo, Barber, Jones, Williams, Witten

Its not like the loss of TO would leave the cupboard bare in Big D. Of course, they could explore the possibility of moving TO via trade. They've had the ticking time bomb for 3 years now...I think its time to quit while you're ahead.

How did he handle the issue wrong? He tried to keep it in-house by having a meeting.

Its hard being a cowboy fan right now. Jerry Jones is getting what he deserves. When you have problem players like TO, Pac man Jones, and Williams your not going to win. Why would Detroit just gve Williams away. Like an earlier post said the cancer has spread. Im actually pulling fo the Giants. Coach Coughlin stuck to his principles whether it cost him his job or not and its paying off. You dont hear Tiki Barber running it anymore. Got rid of Shockey and now Burris. Jones needs to clean house and do things the right way.

He's TO. He makes a circus of everything.

They can keep him around if they want. But, it won't end well.
