Any team with that much talent has the chance to beat anyone anywhere. It all depends on if Romo can protect the ball though. 2. I think it goes Pittsburgh, Indy, then Tennessee in that order. I don't like the Ravens because even though they have a great defense, they have very little offensive firepower and an inexperienced QB.
December 10, 200817 yr Author How would Indy get the #2 seed? They can't win their division, so they don't get a home game in round 1, let alone a bye, right? A minor oversight by me...:lol: Ooops... So, never mind. I'd give Indy a very slim chance, at best, to win the AFC. They aren't going to win three straight, with the last two being on the road, in January. The AFC winner will be Tennessee, Pittsburgh or Baltimore. All three of those teams have defenses good enough to carry them to victories...my guess is that one of those three will be on top of its game and will get the perfect complement from its offense to make it to the Super Bowl. Plus, the other AFC teams will likely have to beat two, if not all three, of those teams to make it to the Super Bowl. I don't think there's a team in the AFC that can go on the road and beat Pittsburgh and Tennessee in back-to-back weeks.

I haven't seen anything to make me believe that is possible. Everyone keeps talking about the Cowboys talent...it has nothing to do with talent. They simply aren't tough enough to beat the Giants.

Pittsburgh is going to have to really do something special on offense (blocking would be good) to win in Baltimore for starters. That is highly unlikely. And I know that they can lose in Baltimore, win the next 2 (assuming Tenn. lays down because they've clinched homefield and then Cleveland @home) and still get the 2 seed. But I don't think that even then they can put 3 games together to win it all. Too handicapped offensively. I think that Tenn. has to be the fave simply because they are able to run the football. I still think the Gmen will represent the NFC now that they've shed Plexithug (as Cooperstown calls him) And although I would love to have my team sport their 6th Lombardi, if they can't, I'd love to see Fish win one. It takes away an entire dimension from their game that teams don't have to gameplan for. With Hixon and Jacobs both aching, they're getting banged up at the wrong time. Class act all the way.:thumb: Tennessee's run game has not been unstoppable this season, especially against good defenses... Here's the combined numbers for Johnson and White in those games... Week 4 vs. Minnesota - 28 carries, 74 yards (W 30-17) Week 5 @ Baltimore - 21 carries, 48 yards (W 13-10) Week 10 @ Chicago - 24 carries, 22 yards (W 21-14) Week 12 vs. NY Jets - 11 carries, 45 yards (L 13-34) Considering the difference in schedules, I would say Pittsburgh with 3 losses is, at the least, just as impressive as Tennessee with one loss. I don't think the Titans running game is going to dominate in a game against Pittsburgh or Baltimore. The Titans might deserve a slight edge because of home field and a bye week, but I view those three teams as near equals to be honest. All three have great defenses. Whichever brings its best in January will be the Super Bowl representative.

They have Ward and Bradshaw to hold them over, I'd rest him. @Dallas Carolina @Minnesota Those are 3 very tough games....If they lose to Carolina, they lose home-field advantage throughout the playoffs....I wouldn't be surprised if they win all 3, but I'd be less surprised if they lost all 3.

The Giants have played 7 teams in a row with winning records. They're 6-1 in that span. Home field advantage doesn't mean a lot to me in the playoffs. The Giants proved last year and this year (they've only lost 1 on the road this year) that they can play on the road. Those are tough games, but if the Giants play like they have in their 11 wins this year, they'll win all three. If they play like they did last week, they will lose all three. :lol:
