I rewatched the entire series earlier in the summer. I think season two is still my favorite, but I really like the fourth even more than on first viewing. Those kids are REALLY, REALLY good in that season.

You're right. I constantly find myself rewatching episodes when I'm at home with nothing to do. I will say that the acting in The Wire might be the best that's ever been on cable television...but those kids were flat out amazing!

I've been re-watching the seasons and Season Two is a lot better the second time around.

I agree totally. Though I'm also partial to the scene with McNulty and Bodie right before Bodie dies.(don't highlight before this if you haven't gotten through season four)

A friend of mine showed me that scene before I ever watched on episode. Once I had the context behind it...it was even better.

 

I like the scene when Bodie has trouble with the radio outside of Baltimore.

 

Also, when D'Angelo teaches Bodie and Poot how to play chess in season one.

The Wire was awesome at scenes like that, scenes with more than meets the eye, I love that about the show.

Don't hesitate, jump right in and watch them all in a row, it will however, rule your life for quite some time.

Though before the co-op you still had at least a division between East and West that at times bordered on "friendly" competition (take the annual basketball game)...Marlo wants it ALL! There is no Stringer or Prop Joe around to reel Marlo in...

 

That's what I like to see...fair pricing for junkies!
