Songs you like by bands you hate

Featured Replies

We all have those guilty pleasures that we like to listen to when nobody else is around. What's yours?

A couple for me would be...

'Take A Look Around' - Limp Bizkit

'Duality' - Slipknot

'I Feel So' - Boxcar Racer

'Freedom Fighter' - Creed

'Sunburn' - Fuel

For clarification, is it by bands we truly hate or by bands we like but we might not want our friends to know? Big difference.

Let's see.....

Paper Planes- M.I.A.

Sic Transit Gloria....Glory Fades- Brand New

Time and Time Again- Chronic Future

We Looked Like Giants- Death Cab for Cutie

Less Talk More Rock- Freezepop

And the very worst of them.....

"Tonight, Tonight"- Panic! at the Disco (a pretty bad live cover of the Smashing Pumpkins that I keep listening to )

Thanks, I needed to get that off my chest.

Good point. For example, I like Air Supply but would never mention that fact on BGP.

There you go.

If its the "I really dislike this band but I like some of their songs" I'll go with Rascall Flatts.

To answer I guess I'll say both and just let people clarify for themselves in their post.

I hate to admit it, but "Wake Me Up, Before You Go-Go" by Wham! is a song that I can't help but sing and dance along to...

George Michael's shirt "Choose Life" was the single biggest reason I hated them in the 80's. Add to that the fact that my first college roommate was a huge Wham fan and was always singing that song.

"Gotta Be Somebody" by Nickelback

"Discovering the Waterfront" by Silverstein

Not gonna sound very "manly", but I've always liked the following:

"Love is a Wonderful Thing" - Michael Bolton

"Ride Like the Wind" - Christopher Cross

"All I Need" - Jack Wagner

If it makes you feel any better, I like Richard Marx.
