How about cover it in the timeout huddle before the last play. He just kept pointing to guys going "you get open, no you get open".No coaching them up at all. I think he's an awful coach...

Do awful coaches resurrect programs? He's done a tremendous job at VT after they hit a dry spell and I'm guessing USF wasn't strong until he built them up.

Sit in a huddle at an end of game situation when you've got less than 60 seconds to draw up a play and try to get everyone in the right spot. You can't coach every scenario possible in a TO. He didn't tell his players not to charge. He didn't tell them not to foul going for a missed shot. Both of those were legit possibilities yet the players knew on their own not to do it.

If you don't like something about him, fine. Don't make yourself look bad by saying he's an awful coach when his history says otherwise.

In 18 years he's been to the tournament TWICE. Yeah. He's a mastermind...

When has USF been strong in Basketball... EVER?

From 96-03 he did manage to go 8 games over .500. Pretty impressive...

Save him a spot in the Hall of Fame.

His predecessor's record at USF was 127-159. Greenberg was also selected ACC Coach of the Year in 2005 and 2008 and took the Hokies to post-season play and a Top 25 ranking for the first time in over a decade. Maybe not John Wooden, but probably not in the "awful" category either . . . .

This is a serious question because I don't know. How successful was he in those postseasons?

You were in the huddle and everything, right?

There was a TV camera aimed right at him with the sound up the entire timeout. So pretty much yes...

I was gonna say this, but thanks GT.
