Knott Central or Hazard in the 14th Region?

Featured Replies

If the new kid that transferred from Georgia is as good as I've heard, 6'5 and skilled, I think Lee County will be a lot better than many think. Their front court would average close to 6'5 with Pelfrey, Campbell, and Pittman. Then add the 6'3 Aaron Charles (one of the top players in the mountains) at guard along with Gus Wise, who saw a lot of action last year, and you have a pretty solid team. They just may be the second best team in the region behind Hazard. The only thing the Bobcats may lack is depth, I'm not sure where they stand with that.

Hazard. BTW, they will beat Perry Central in every match up between the two this season.

Perry will beat them at least one time this year.

Perry will beat them at least one time this year.

The only chance PCC has to beat hazard is if Hazard football team is still in the playoffs on Dec 9 better keep your fingers crossed for the football team.

I will agree with you that Hazard is the best team in the region and should be pick #1 but I do think that Perry, Knott or LCC will knock them off in the region but that is my thought and as far a Leslie Co. they have a good young bunch coming up.

Far from it man...I'm a fan of a team that is in the same district as Hazard (Leslie) & I am a fan of good basketball in which Hazard has. It's not that I am a "die hard" Bulldog fan or a PCC hater. I tell it like it is & Hazard is the better team & I think they will win each game they play against Perry Central. You do know that they quit playing the regular season match up between the 2 so it's not that bold of a prediction right? BTW, I know Hatcher is a good coach, because of the success he had at his previous school (the name of the school escapes me) but that does not mean he can automatically make his players all of a sudden be good. Perry has a couple nice players but Hazard has about 4 really nice players. You say Perry has about the same team as last year but so does Hazard. Hazard was the better team last year & they will be again this year. Go Leslie County! (who BTW, will be one of the less talented teams in the 14th this upcoming season) :thumb:

Hey Fletch here in Breathitt Co. talk with one of the Salyers kid family and said that he understood that Mike the Dad had to rush to the ER tonight because his son broke his collor bone in football practice today. Any truth to this, let me know. If so this will really hurt their basketball team for awhile won't it.

Hazard has a great team but I just don't see them dominating PCC evrytime they play this year. For Hazards sake they should hope it is in the regular season and not the district or regional tourney. They could play potentially 4 times this year can't they?

Man you must be a diehearted bulldog fan to say something like that. I seen PCC play several time this summer and they played awful good and besides they have about the same team back from last yr. with I think that they also landed the Salyers kid from Breathitt Co. who is about 6'4 and a real good inside player if I'm not mistaken. And also Hatcher is one heck of a coach maybe the best in the eastern part of this state.

Hazard will win ever game they play PCC by 10-or more. The Salyers kid at his best is just a j.v. player no help there.:scared:

10 or more! Every game they play this year. I am not a fan of either but that is crazy talk!

No they won't.

Wait and see. They have nothing for Hazard.

No they won't.

We will see. :thumb:

This kid was starting for PCC at the end of the summer don't know what game you was watching but I do know that Coach Hatcher was very high on this kid. And he will see major mins. this yr. wait and see. And also watch PCC finish ahead of Hazard this yr. Can't believe how you would bad mouth a kid like that.

Hazard is dynasty in the 14th. When Perry tangles with Hazard this year Perry will be glad when the horn sounds. Hazard will beat them 10 or more ever time wait and see.

Hazard has a very, very well-coached team. They also have experience that alot of other teams do not have. I don't see anyone knocking Hazard off. IMO.
