Final

Miles Simpson is the best running back I have seen this year in NKY, but this was the first time I have seen him. Also I haven't seen all the teams, but this kid has a very bright future.

Congrats to Miles Simpson for breaking the single season rushing record for Simon Kenton, set back in 1968. Also to the coaches and players for another winning season and off to the play offs with a winning streak going. This team has come together and are now showing what they are capable of really doing. GOOD LUCK PIONEERS

Odd atmosphere tonight, if you closed your eyes you wouldn't even know a game was being played. Congrats to Simpson and the rest of the Neers, he is now at the top of the Pioneer rushing list, passing a very fine man in Charlie Siffel. HC has a very athletic QB in Walker, but overall their offense is very bland. I loved the screen pass to Simpson, get him in the open and there is a good chance he will take it to the house.

You were right on Neerfan, I had that same feeling. Congrats to Miles Simpson and The Pioneers players.

I was thinking the same thing the screen pass was an excellent call by the coach. As you could tell the Indians defense was caught off guard and then his breakaway speed did the rest.

SK has certainly found themselves at the right time of the season, great job

I could of told you Miles was going to be outstanding back when he played for the Raiders. This kid can absolutely play and he's extremely fast.

I want to say great job to the seniors. I was there for the first half and you guys played with heart. I know the Simpson kid is a great football player but they need to take some pressure off him. It seems like if you shut him down the team comes to a halt. I think you let Dewalt and Wilson get some carries and show other teams you got more weapons, that would keep teams from keying on him so much. Just my thoughts.

Good luck in the Playoffs.

Yea but Simpson is only getting around 15 carries a game so it's not like they're giving him the ball every play as some other schools pretty much do.

A Pure joy to watch

He's worth the price of admission. Things I love about him are his ability to bounce on a dime, hit the corner and put on the jets. I also love to see him lay the wood on defense, no doubt the most talented kid in NKY and has to be one of the best in the state on both sides of the ball.

Is he getting looked at for safety or running back in college?

From what I've heard and seen on the net, they project him as a safety or LB. I can't wait to see him as a Sr, hard telling how big and strong he will be next year. His yards after first contact have to be phenomenal, once he has leverage on you, he's going to gain yardage, very rare to see him go for a loss of yardage.

With his speed and size he could be a deadly safety.
