I always thought it was the quarterback. You can't be 1/13 and expect to win. He locks up when pressure is put on him. Last night he could have ran 2 or 3 yards for the 1st down and decided to throw another incompleted pass instead. I know he's only a sophmore but that was the coaches choice to use him. Their are other players who could play that position and not get scared and lock up whenever someone comes at you. Bottom line: He's scared to take a hit and it shows when he is under pressure. Williams can't carry the entire team. He has to be able to depend on his QB to take some pressure off of him and give him a break.

Clark County has always had the talent to compete with anyone in the state. The problem is, IMHO, and always has been, the coaching is sub par in a lot of areas. The conditioning and off season preparation has never been mandatory and it seems at times the players are running the show. I respect the coaches but when you lose more games than you win you need to make wholesale changes to get back on track. The fan base needs to demand at least improvement year in and year out. I think the empty seats Friday night spoke volumns.

Until someone takes the reins and says we are going to do better or else, we will still be mediocre every year! I for one cannot wait for basketball to start!
