Scott Co vs GRC predictions

Featured Replies

Big district match up between these two teams. Your thoughts and predictions?

Scott Co. 31-21.

GRC could make the district seedings a little fuzzy with a win, however I think Scott County wins it 35-17.

Scott Co.by two td's.

Yes it could. I believe in my GRC Cards and think they will pull out the win.

I have not followed GRC this year. What are their strengths that could allow them to compete with Scott Co. this year?

We have Ryan Williams that was the leading rusher in the state and averaging over 200 yards a game till he got hurt in the Henry Clay game. He will play Friday, but is still not 100% We have Jaron Thomas that is a great WR/DB great hands. Darius Skinner a Sophomore has had several interceptions at the DB position and and played some at QB. Andrew Dini, Sophomore QB has done a great job this year in his first year at QB.Inexperience is our weakness. We replaced 22 seniors Cory Rogers from the basketball team has improved the last few games with some big time tackles. Jim Mabe a Senior is another one that has stepped up big this year.

WOW 22 seniors. Obviously the underclassmen have grown up quickly. Is it safe to say that the season depends heavily on how well Ryan is recovered. I know that no team will ever admit that it relies on one individual and it certainly sounds like others have stepped up already.

We do depend on Ryan alot, but yes others have stepped up and the underclassmen have preformed better than I thought they would. Even thought we lost 22 seniors , we only won like 3 games last year. Difference this year...team chemistry.:thumb:

After losing that many (I'm guessing) leaders, it left the team to have to rely on each other. That's when you get a TEAM. Good luck the rest of the way.
