Kellen Winslow almost demanded trade, feels as if he isn't even a part of the team

People who do NOT follow the Browns and therefore do NOT understand the situation should not be posting comments because its obvious you all have no idea what is going on. Kellen got staph... about the 3,438 time a Browns player has gotten staph in the past few years. The Browns did not want him to disclose the injury and told him to keep quiet about it. The media (in Cleveland and nationally) begins to speculate that 1) he has an STD or 2) he has a testicular problem. Winslow gets ticked off about this and says what happened and shows his displeasure with how the organization handled it and tried to keep it quiet. He is upset about that and how the team has basically done nothing to try to combat the obvious ongoing problem with staph in the clubhouse. Was it childish to get upset about Phil not calling him? Probably, but its a boil over from everything else.

To the poster who said he doesnt produce... do you even watch football? Kellen has over 170 catches the last two years and nearly 2000 yards receiving. His 89 catches in 2006 match Ozzie Newsome's club record and his 1106 yards last year broke the team record for a tight end. So... in his two full years of playing he has matched or broken records set by a HOF tight end. If thats not producing then you simply do NOT know football.

Great potential and physique but never a great player. The name Winslow, is synonymous with NFL stardom, just not on Kellen's behalf.

All talk no show.

Again... its painfully obvious you have no idea what you are talking about. Matching or breaking records set by a HoF tight end and making a pro bowl is producing. I understand you probably dont like K2, but that doesnt mean you need to dismiss facts.

Been a Browns fan, longer than most. Watched his father play with fortitude, passion and respect for the game.

As I stated before

he won't be a great player. The Browns have been inept offensively the last several years and the outlet to the TE position, is what many defensives are allowing.

You're assuming a lot, from my comment. His recent quotes on the subject, have nothing to do with my perspective on him. You may think he's great but I don't agree.

On average, the Browns have been horrible offensively since the return, but last year was a pleasant exception. They had one of the best offensives (statistically) in club history... and Kellen had a pro bowl year. The QB problems have again arisen, and his production has suffered. He still, however, leads the team in receptions.

Again, I will say, that matching or breaking records set by a Hall of Fame tight end in your first two full years of playing IS producing.

Winslow needs to get out of their for his own sake.

Ship him to the Raiders so we can all forget about him....
