October 14, 200817 yr ^ Let it go it was a good trade PERIOD! I was just using one of the top hitters of all time as an example. :thumb:
October 14, 200817 yr Maybe they do, maybe not. You have no way of knowing. Fact is it should have been at least 1-0 Sox, but because of Tek it's 1-0 Rays. Tampa may have still won, but to try and say it wouldn't have been a different game is inaccurate. If you really want to put this one on Tek you need to turn in your bandwagon card. The Rays were better today all the way around. Just like Saturday when they wouldn't be denied. The Red Sox didn't lose either game, the Rays WON both of them. They were the better team both days and with the Red Sox current health they might be the better team period. These wins have been earned, not given.

October 14, 200817 yr Yes, and where does that top hitter of all time currently sit in his series? I think it might be 1-2, correct? And where does his former team sit?
October 14, 200817 yr And where does his former team sit? The same place in their series but they've got a replacement player for less than half of his salary for next season and all their major players save Varitek signed for next season. Plus even with tonight's loss they are now 38-22 without him. :thumb:
