BoilerUp
It wasn't always a pretty game, quite a few flags and quite a few stalled drives, but the Jackets easily prevailed. Franklin Co.'s passing game was better than I expected, but WC bottled up the FC running attack. WC again relied on the pass and Duckworth running the QB draw with success. As always, he was solid and cool under pressure. WC running back and DB Jordan Carter left before the half with what appeared to be some sort of ankle injury, hopefully not too serious. jvdfc
This game was tight at the half. 17-14 Woodford. This game was not a blowout. 1 Referee said this was the hardest hitting game they had done. The stripes had a bad night, but you must overcome.

oldonetechnique
Not sure if the FCHS running game was bottled up they simply had to pass once they fell behind the run was there quite a bit, but FC had their chances and could not get it done. I liked the young blood for they flyers #15 freshman RB, and many young lineman in the line up. Keep working flyers take care of the district use your other games to get better.
