I disagree. If it's not an important enough issue to leave me a voice mail, I'm probably going to take my sweet time returning your call. If I even return the call at all.

 

That's fair. But if it is important, I'd give you another call. Or send you a text, asking you to call me at your earliest convenience.

 

If i have a missed call without a voice mail, there's about a 3% chance the person will be getting a call back. Leave a message if you want something.

 

That's cool. Notice I said "in some instances". Each person is different; however, if one of my buddies calls and I miss it, odds are I will give them a call back.

Texting has its place but it can be abused and offensive. My wife hates my phone period because my buddies are always blowing me up with useless texts (to her). I use it to send mass messages to friends or family. I like them brief and to the point.
