SUGARAY....do you actually think Taylor Co.'s Defense can hold the Dragon offense to just 21 points? The Dragon offense is averaging 45.8 points a game with two guys that is highly ranked as scoring leaders in the entire state....Garrard Co. had 623 yards of total offense on the Cardinals....if you honestly believe that, I think you have caught a few too many right hands from Marvelous Marvin Haglar.

IMO Taylor will do well if they depend on Thomas to help them...if they choose the transfer WR to take them to victory they will get killed...Green is a powerhouse smash football team that will keep scoring on you!!!

Has anyone on here seen Taylor Co. defense? They give up 643 total yards of offense last week against Garrard Co. I don't mean to sound like a broken record because I posted this earlier. The Dragon offense is one of the most explosive offenses in class 2A. Do you honesty think Taylor can hold the Dragons under 30 points? I really like all of the doubters that has Taylor winning this game. Come late Friday night, I will say "I toeuso".

I have to say that I was a little surprised also, I figured more people would be picking Taylor County to win.

I only see one person on here saying Taylor will win...

 

I will say this about Green Co. all the ingredients are there for an upset, Green Co. currently has 2,021 rushing yards(30 TD's) so far this season and only 202 yards passing with one TD pass. Granted they haven’t had to throw the ball but if your a Green Co. fan it would be nice to know you could.

 

With that said, Taylor Co. couldn't stop Monroe from running at will, no reason to think they can stop Green...

Hey ENDzoneeyeCAM Taylor County is doing pretty good against the run. Its pass deffense thats supsect. And this isn't the same poor run deffense people seen against Monroe County. I look for a pretty good game. With that said TC 35 GC 21.

WOW!!!!!!! what a statement Tsyoung7.You must don't follow Kentucky sports like the rest of us. The kids name is Leonard Macon and he happens to be one of the states top two sport stars and that's with a capital S. And if Green County had him they would put stock in him too and thats a fact.

I haven't seen any sign that Taylor County's defense can stop the pass or the run consistantly. I'll take Green County 55-34.

How is the run defense getting better when they allowed 210 yards rushing to Somerset and 295 yards rushing to Garrard County? Green may rush for 500. I think Taylor will put up some points but not nearly enough.

Taylor has not been known recently as a defensive power having given up an average of 35 points per game the last 5 years. Each team has several nice athletes. The difference I believe will be in how much more physical Green approaches the game of football. They play as hard as they practice. Green should dominate the line of scrimmage both ways, giving the Cards a sample of smashmouth ball. This game could be the first time this year Taylor County will be pressured on every play, limiting their passing game to quick passes to try and protect the QB. Macon and Thomas are outstanding but Green's team concept will probably be too much for the Cards. The Dragons offense could ring up some big numbers. This game is drawing lots of interest from fans and should be fun to watch.
