I thought this game would be closer than this and might end up closer yet. Breathitt busted some big plays in that 1st half. Harlan just seems to have no answer for Fugate.

If Breathitt County can develop a consistent and dependable passing game, they'll be a completely different football team, IMO.

 

I'm glad to hear that the Bobcats have exploded this week. Is it possible they were looking ahead last week? Also, can't believe Harlan County as allowed Channing Fugate to go off like this. Any team facing BC that doesn't key everything to stop him is crazy...he's a great, great high school back, so even when you key on him he's more than capable of making something happen anyway. But, for a team that was supposed to be as good as HC allowing it to happen so much, it sounds like more than that.

 

If they can finish this game off, this might be the type of game this team needs to build their confidence and get things rolling as we gear up for the second half of the season with an eye on the playoffs. This is a huge game as far as playoff implications go...especially with the win over Estill last week. A win tonight all but assures the district title for the Bobcats barring a colossal melt down over the final five games.

Total discombobulation by the Black Bears. It looks like they never made it out of the locker room. Yes, Mr. Saylor sounded quite frustrated on the radio in the first half.

 

Sometimes you just have games like this and playing a pretty dang good team doesn't help. Hats off to Breathitt.
