Deming will need an inside presence to go along with the twins. If they can get that, this will be a team that should compete for both the All A and Regional title.

 

They would probably like to draw opposite of Brossart so they at least have a good chance of reaching the finals in the All A. But I dont see them having much of a shot at the Regional title. But you are right about an inside presence. If they can get Grause a little stronger they have a good chance at the All A title.:devil:

The 10th Region "A" brackets were drawn back in the spring.

 

I too would have liked to see Brossart and Deming draw opposite, but that's not the way the pills came out of the bottle.

The Brossart Mustangs will embark on their quest for a seventh consecutive 10th Region All "A" Championship on Monday, January 19th when we will take on Augusta in a play-in game, at Augusta.

Deming will take on Paris in the upper-bracket opening round game on Wednesday, Jan 21st followed by Silver Grove vs the winner of the Brossart-Augusta game.

The lower bracket will pit Calvary Christian against Nicholas County on Thursday, January 22nd with Bracken County facing St. Patrick in the other lower-bracket game.

The upper bracket semis will be Friday, Jan. 23rd at 6:30pm with the lower bracket semis to follow at 8pm The 10th Region "A" Champ will be crowned on Saturday, Janaury 24th at 7:30pm. The tournament will be hosted by Nicholas County High School.

 

If Brossart and Deming are to meet, it will be in the tournament semi-finals on Friday, January 23rd at 6:30pm at Nicholas County High School. Calvary Christian has the athletes to compete again this year and are probably the favorites to emerge from the bottom bracket.
