I don't think it can be done in 3 weeks.

The plan that I heard is to raise enough money to have it for next year. Much is still needed, donations and ideas are gladly accepted.

 

It would be a great addition for the community not just the football program.

 

Getting more people to view the idea in that aspect has been the biggest hurdle.

The turf will be installed when our season is completed.

 

Maysville and Mason County is a great place to coach and raise a family because the community goes above and beyond to take care of their kids- very much in the spirit of Pat Moore, the Boys and Girls Club, and many other organizations and individuals.

 

The turf will be used for PE classes, band, soccer, football, etc. We are hosting a USA Football Clinic here this spring and the turf was something that would enhance our school as a site.

 

I have always loved playing in the mud and rain, but there are 3 negatives- destroying the field, cleaning up afterwards, and killing the gate. The turf will eliminate 2 of those.

 

Maybe we can raise some extra money and get a cover like they have at Holcomb Stadium in Breathitt County. Just kidding- we won't be asking for anything else for a long time. :sssh:
