Congrats on the win. I thought Lex Cath's varsity looked down as well. Not much speed, which is to be expected when you lose Guy and Israel et al. I'm anxious to get your thoughts on Lex Cath after this Friday.

I know they got a pretty good coach from Trinity in Leach. I was stunned by the lack of speed. Several times they only had 10 kids on the field.

I agree Dandy...I hate to say it but...overall I thought Lex Cath was poorly coached. 10 players on the field happened 3 or 4 times....the punter was screaming for another player on one occasion and the coaching staff seemed to ignore him, so he just went ahead and punted and thankfully X did not try and block it. On offense, they basically never even tried to establish a running game(ie, you know, slow the game down, let the clock run, try and make a first down)...instead opting to throw screens that lost yardage most of the afternoon. On defense, as mentioned, they had absolutely no speed to contain Jay Hayden. Last year's freshmen game was respectable, 2 TD victory I think for the Tigers....I don't know what happened over the course of a year. I heard after the game from a Knight parent that their numbers are really down.

I think Lex Cath will pull away with a victory against Corbin.

I don't think they can stop the running game Corbin has put on this year, they have ran all over everybody.

Yes they will Lex. Cath. will not score a lot of points but will be able to shut down the running game. They have big athletic physical linebackers who will be able to handle the running game..

That means absolutely nothing at all. If it's the J.V team that I am thinking of it would not have taken much to beat them. Did Corbin's freshman team last year beat team like Trinity and Colerain?
