I was really impressed with Pendelton County they never stopped coming. PC has a good defense and their offense clicked together. Newport's #30 Short IMO should be the running back - this kid runs hard and never stops. Newport passing game still is struggling - not getting enough protection up front to execute it.

Very wet, nasty, slippery, game. Newports turn overs and penaltys kept this game close. Newports running game never showed it self till the fourth quarter when #30 Short was in the game. Pendelton does a great job with so few player #8 is real good. Any updates on the young man from Pendelton County that was injured?

#8 is Dillon Greene he is a junior, Landon Wright the injured player is doing better. He has a really bad stinger and is possible to play the next game against Henry Co. Pendleton's bye week is this week.

Glad to hear he is doing better. That is something one hates to see during a game - I wish him all the best. PC has a good team and is well coached and very disciplined too.

Dillon Green is a great athlete in all sports ( Good Luck). And I know the Cody Short youngman, he has been one of the tougher kids in the area since he was in the first grade. Good Luck Wildcats Both of them!!

Cody Short will get you a 100 yards a game if given the chance to run the ball. In some JV games last year, he had 2 or 3 200+ yard rushing games. He runs hard, is pretty fast and has a low center of gravity. He needs 10-15 touches per game. Just my opinion!
