Good win for the Falcons. Shutting down the last team to beat them should really give these boys some confidence.

 

I got to listen to the game online and was doing my best to provide some periodic updates.

 

My son recovered a fumble late in the fourth quarter.....and my wife's picture was on WHVO.

Big improvement for the Falcons from last week. Penalties were under control and the defense was on a mission. There was a lot of hard hitting and a lot less arm tackles this game. I agree, should be a big confidence booster after holding the 5th ranked 4A team to just 6.

Nobody, at least which posted on BGP, thought Fort Campbell was going to win in a blowout, least of all me. Fort Campbell’s defense bent but didn’t break against a potent offense with Holton and #7 (not sure of the name). In the end FC only allowed one TD which came against their second team D. FCs offense was very impressive most of the time, but still had a few penalties that could have really hurt had the game been close and they were not been able to comeback and convert on 3rd and 4th down. Andrews did not look as accurate last night as he had in previous games/scrimmages, but he certainly made up for it on the ground. FC still has some tough competition coming up, but they are clicking on all cylinders right now and are going to be tough to beat.

Very impressive win for the Falcons...These guys are deep and talented and would likely be a Top 5 team in any of the Top 5 classes and likely a Top 10 team even in 6a...It's definately an advantage to dress as many kids as they do and not only dress, but, put numbers like that with quality talent, especially against 2a competition who normally don't go near that deep in # or talent...

Good win for Ft. Campbell.

East should bounce back and contend for district again, just as they did last year. This game will only help East down the road.

They get alot of points with special teams and there defense...To me, that's what makes them so good...
