McCreary has a soph. tackle that is 6'4" 310 and very athletic and strong and a Sr. tackle who is 6'1" 250 who has the biggest calves I have ever seen (he's a beast). The rest of the line isn't to shabby either. So, I don't see W-burg man-handleing MC. However, they may out-ahletic them with their skill people. The key for W-burg will be to out score MC. The winner of this game will be the one who gets the most stops on "D" just like it is every week that W-burg plays. I don't think anyone really ever expects to shut down W-burg they just try to hold them under 40 and score over 40. Good luck to both teams, may God watch over their players so they can have a fun filled, and injury free game.

 

I completely agree, last years game was a good one to watch, it was one of the first times I had saw the Burg played since they ran the ball back in the 90's...../ Williamsburgs entire line is easily over 6 foot and 225, their new runningnack looked like a load about 6 foot maybe 6-1 around 205 should be an awesome game:dancingpa

Might get a hamburger as well. Wburg usually does this bowl right, treats the kids well and hands a nice check to the visiting team.

We have been there atleast 5 years in a row, they always give us a nice check but it is never a bowl game. I think they just get car sick if they have to go over the mountain. Ha Ha! I hope it is a bowl this year since this will be the last year in a long running rivalry!:cry:

They do enjoy firing up the grills and making those Williamsburgers in Paradise. I like mine with Lettuce and Tomato, Heinz 57 with french Fried Taters. It should be a festive environment. Where is the officating crew coming from? I know some of the bowl games bring in out of area crews to call the games. I look forward to seeing Mr. Watts and the moves he can bring to the field. He is a talented young man.

I most definetely do not see McCreary as being "too much" for Williamsburg at all. I think that if Williamsburg plays their game, they could run off with it.

If Williamsburg held off the athletes that Frankfort has, they will have no problem with McCreary.

RamblingMan you know me too well. Since the Burg is a dry town I will settle for a cold RC Cola and a Moon Pie. I went to one Williamsburg game and they had a Pig Roast before the game. All the sides and everything for a small donation to the Alumni Association. When it comes to eating good that lady over the Alumni takes the cake....I think she is in charge of the marching band as well. Nothing like some fresh Pork and Tater Salad on paper plate to get you ready for some hard hitting action. I agree the Jackets will be too much for McCreary.

Williamsburg will win by 2 or 3 td's depending on how they handle Watts.

 

If McCreary has any chance Watts will need another game like last year and have something like 500+ all purpose yards again.
