KY vs Ohio

Well when you build a program it is generally with your own talent and when you "build" a program the talent comes from elsewhere. I respect the heck out of Billy Hick's and can say that he is a top notch coach, but I really respect those coaches who work hard at the smaller schools, with less advantages and manage to get it done.

What Billy Hick's has "built" at Scott County is a program that can be looked at as a top-notch program not only in the bluegrass, but the nation.
No question a good coach and the record speaks for itself, but you have to give much of the credit here to Scott County community and its financial support. Also give a little credit to the folks from Japan that located a small car manufacturer in Scott County.

It takes money to have and maintain a solid program, and these guys have it down pat to the point that as I understand it, they have other schools booster clubs doing much of the fundraising for them. I don't know how far reaching it is but many other schools booster clubs sell Toyota Tickets for a car that is raffled off annually. It is my understanding that this is a huge fundraiser for Scott Co. If the numbers I have heard are correct they raise more than the gate money that many other schools entire sports programs bring in, in a year. If my understanding is correct, hats off to the person that came up with this fundraising idea. If you can get others outside your county helping with your fundraising you have a great situation.

what are you trying to say?
