I was thinking the same thing, the Cubs did virtually NOTHING all night. We have seen it all year from this team, yet I'm still stunned whenever I see something like this. Just awesome.

Wood pitching in his 4th straight game, I don't like this AT ALL.

Another ho-hum Cubs win.

That magic number is down to 23.

Is it just me, or have the Brewers had a day off every 4 days the past few weeks? It seems like they are always off--which is really good when we win! 1/2 game, baby!

I just watched Rami's grand slam again from last night and the funniest thing was Victorino never moved in center field. He did not budge one inch, he just watched it sail out! I think I missed it initially because I jumped up off the couch when he hit it, but Victorino just standing there was pretty funny.

Aramis knew it was gone as soon as he hit it didnt he?:ylsuper:

Absolutely crushed the ball. Such a great game to watch. As somebody said before, this season has been a treat. This is a team that I feel is never out of a game at any point. They really are clicking on all cylinders. Bring on October!

Soriano hits a solo shot in the bottom of the 7th to give the Cubs a 3-2 lead, Marmol gets the last 5 outs for the save.

Harden struggled early with control, including walks, was only able to pitch 5, but held the Phillies to just 2 runs and kept the Cubs in the game.

The S man pitches an inning and a third scoreless.

That magic number is at 22. C'MON PIRATES! :ylsuper:
