August 25, 200818 yr Author Sounds good. I'll be coming to Bowling Green quite a few times with my youngest son and his family now living there. It really depends if I have to go to Atlanta or not as to when I get to Bowling Green. If I can get there Saturday I'll probably come to the game. My wife is in Atlanta with our daughter who is ready to give birth to her first child at any moment. Congrats!!!:bunny::bunny: I bet you are soooo excited!! PH wanted me to tell you that he can't wait to see you sometime....I can't either!!! Since you will be in BG some, maybe your wife and Coach/son can come to dinner with all of us! (that is if your son can stand to be around a Purple!) Hope to see you soon!!!
August 25, 200818 yr Author I'll be there. Need to make my hotel reservations this week. Cool!! We can't wait to see you!! We will be sitting on the grass line where the players will come out on the field. If not, you will see PH welcoming the guys out on the field. Anyway, we will be close by that area. PH will be in his wheelchair and I will be in a Purple's stadium chair. We sit at the field grass line.
August 25, 200818 yr Author How do you get to Bowling Green High School? I know my way around BG pretty good, but have never passed BG high. Get off on the Scottsville Rd exit and turn left. You will be on Scottsville Rd passing Greenwood Mall and several auto dealerships. Stay in the left hand lane. You will see Ashley Circle (You know that you are getting close when you see Rafferty's on the left hand side). If you miss the first turn off to Ashley Circle....don't worry, there will be another one right after it.) Anyway, you are wanting to turn left and head toward Greenview Hospital. BGHS is behind various hospital parking lots and various doctor's offices. Par anywhere you can find a place. You will know when you are at BGH when you see the dome swimming pool and the stadium lights. BGHS is located on Rockingham Lane. It is not hard at all to find and anyone at Stake and Shake can tell you how to get there if you get lost....it is the opposite side of the street where you want to turn on to Ashley Circle. I am horrible at directions...I hope I did not mess you up!

If so I will look you all up again this year. We plan on taking my daughter to Red Lobster after the game Saturday night, since she is at WKU. Yum Yum!!
August 25, 200818 yr Author Yes! We will be there....I just told PH and he and I are both looking forward to seeing you again!!!
August 25, 200818 yr You know, Bowling Green has a fine stadium and field, but I think it's a shame this won't be at WKU. And from recent pictures of the stadium, it is more than ready to host football. Pictures in this thread

And from recent pictures of the stadium, it is more than ready to host football. Pictures in this thread Truth be known, it was not BGH's choice to have the games played at BGHS either...it was Western's athletic dept. who would not allow the games to be played there. That is why Western's home debut is so late this year. We will miss being there as well. PH and I love the handicapp part in the stands where the people in wheelchairs can sit. It is really nice for PH to have a great place to see from.
