February 16, 201016 yr Deer in the Night by Po' Girl This is my first listen. Ran across them looking for something else last night. They seem to be a cool, folky trio in the neko case/tori amos mold. (even with some jazz elements) Only halfway through so far, but I'm really digging it.

A guy I know here in B'town who is also a fan was telling me it's a new place somewhere in the tobacco warehouse district. Or maybe he said it was actually in an old converted tobacco warehouse. One of those two, anyway. Another one that would be a good one to see is actually this Saturday at Phoenix Hill in L'ville. The mighty Bottle Rockets are in town, and I would love to see those guys again. They put on a great show as well.
