August 5, 200818 yr Author Cubs lose last night's "Storm of the Century" game, bounce back today and get the win. You figured Harden was due for a rough outing, it didn't help with the wind blowing out. Marquis will be on the bump tomorrow, Cubs have to rely on him to take the series. Lovely thought. AND the Cubs still have 6 games left against Houston, not looking forward to it at all.
August 6, 200818 yr ^ I had a lot of hopes for Marquis this season after last year he done so suprisingly good. Hopefully for the last two months he gets things going like he had them going in parts of last years campaign.

August 6, 200818 yr Author Marquis benefits from 11 runs of support and pitches into the 7th. Cubs get a well deserved day off tomorrow before starting the big 3 game series against the Cards on Friday. Rotation is lined up rather perfectly for the weekend: Lilly, Zambrano, Dempster. BRING ON THE CARDS!
August 6, 200818 yr Great win today--Cubs 11, Astros 4. Soriano hit a shot that went 410 feet--it was a monster! Nice grand slam for DeRosa, too. Marquis gets the win in spite of himself!
August 8, 200818 yr Author Leaving for chicago in about 5 hrs You need to head to the SouthSide after the game and take in White Sox/Red Sox. Heck of a weekend of baseball in the Windy City.

August 8, 200818 yr Author May do that... I was looking at a flight out of O'hare and when looking at their train maps, one train can take you from one stadium to the other, that would be just awesome. Don't fight traffic or parking fees, a lot of fun. Of course, making it out of the SouthSide alive at night is a different story.
August 8, 200818 yr Nothing like watching an exciting episode of Matlock on WGN while the Cards and Cubs go at it at Wrigley....
August 8, 200818 yr Nothing like watching an exciting episode of Matlock on WGN while the Cards and Cubs go at it at Wrigley.... I could be wrong, but I thought you lived in WKY? Seems like the Cards game would be on FOX or something? I'm at work so I wouldn't know but it seems like EVERY card game is on here
August 8, 200818 yr My FOX affiliate is out of Nashville. If my cable system were worth a darn and would give us the FOX station out of Evansville or So. Ill., I would be watching them.
August 8, 200818 yr Nothing like watching an exciting episode of Matlock on WGN while the Cards and Cubs go at it at Wrigley.... That's the reason why we buy the MLB Extra Innings package through DirectTV. The only games we miss are the Fox Saturday baseball if the Cubs are not featured in our area.

It is very easy to do.
